Inspiration & Meaning
The wire binds the body physically, while the frame adds a second layer of meaning - a state, a status, a condition. The body is not presented as defeated, but held in place, suspended between beauty and limitation.
Bound speaks about being bound both as a physical reality and as a metaphor for relationships, commitment, and choice. The work remains intentionally open, allowing the viewer to decide whether the binding represents protection, desire, control, or acceptance.
Placement
With its vertical scale and strong presence, the artwork functions almost like a standing figure. It works best in spaces that allow closeness and contemplation — private collections, curated interiors, or architectural environments where the body and the frame can be experienced together.
