Inspiration & Symbolism

Horses appear here as symbols of natural strength, energy, and freedom — a counterpoint to the modern obsession with speed, power, and fuel. The work emerged from a quiet question: What if movement were guided by respect rather than dominance?

The composition is built from collage fragments taken from magazines and newspapers dating back to the 1970s — publications carefully preserved by the artist’s grandparents. These materials carry the texture of time, memory, and inherited values, transforming the surface into a layered archive of a past era.

Through the image, the artist imagines an alternative reality:
cars replaced by horses, fuel stations becoming water wells, parking lots turning into green fields, and movement returning to a slower, more conscious rhythm. A world where gratitude, care for nature, and responsibility toward one another are not ideals, but everyday gestures.

Fuel of the Future is not a prediction, but a reflection — a visual meditation on what truly sustains life, beyond progress measured in speed or consumption.
